Dedicated to Saving Lives

Metro's Rail Safety Education Program is a three pronged effort striving to make a lasting impression on its audience.

Vivid site-specific presentations are offered in a classroom setting, using photos and videos of rail crossings from communities along the Metro Blue and Gold Lines. Presentations are also offered for communities near the Metro Orange Line.

The Rail Safety Orientation Program offers guided tours for students. Student-only tours include safety and system information and limited rides on the Gold, Red, or Blue Lines.

The Metro Experience, a mobile theatre for events lasting two days or more, features compelling three-dimensional, award-winning videos for students in two age groups. The Metro Experience will be return to service in 2008.
