Go Metro to Afi Fest 2006 Presented by Audi• Festival accessible via Metro Red Line to Hollywood Movie buffs can Go Metro to the AFI Los Angeles International Film Festival, the longest running film festival in L.A., which will be held Nov. 1-11 in Hollywood. Now celebrating its 20th anniversary, AFI features international competitions of brand new films from emerging filmmakers, global showcases of the latest work from the great film masters, and nightly red-carpet gala premieres at the ArcLight Hollywood complex Metro is the official “Alternative Transportation Partner” for the event. Patrons can use the free AFI shuttle to the theatre from the Metro Red Line Hollywood/Highland Station or walk to the ArcLight from the Metro Red Line Hollywood/Vine Station. Metro riders can show their pass at the AFI Fest and box office or information booth and get a voucher that is stamped with each trip taken to the festival.
