Go Metro to LA Home Show Oct. 13-15 and Get Money-Saving Advice and Half-Price Admission

Want free advice on siding, roofing, remodeling? From materials to creative ideas, the Home Remodeling & Decorating Show at the Los Angeles Convention Center is the place to find it Oct. 13-15. And if you travel there via the Metro Blue Line, you can get 50 percent off the price of admission.

Exhibits, workshops and projects for dreamers and do-it-yourselfers, the Home Show is the collecting place for home repair and improvement information. Check out the latest styles and ask the experts if they are appropriate for your home and lifestyle.

Take the Metro Red Line to the Metro Blue Line to Pico Station. Take a 5-minute walk west on Pico to 1201 S. Figueroa St. in Downtown Los Angeles. Just show your valid Metro pass or Metro Rail ticket at the box office to receive the discount.

Show hours are Friday from noon to 8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tickets are $6.75 for adults; $4 for seniors (55 and over); children under 12 free. For more information on the Home Show call (818) 557-2950 or go to www.thehomeshow.com.
