Go Metro to Harlem Globetrotters and Save

Celebrating their 81st consecutive season of barnstorming across North America, the world-famous Harlem Globetrotters today performed at Union Station to promote their 2007 "Nothing Like It" World Tour to Los Angeles Feb. 17 and 19 and the discount Metro passengers can receive for taking mass transit to it.

Metro customers can save $4 per ticket for shows Saturday, Feb. 17 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, 1 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Monday, Feb. 19 at STAPLES Center at 1 p.m. Riders need only show their Metro tickets or passes or Metro employee ID badges to receive the discount on tickets purchased through STAPLES Center and Honda Center arena box offices. Tickets start at $16.

To get to STAPLES Center, take the Metro Blue Line to Pico/Chick Hearn Station. STAPLES Center is just a five-minute walk west. The Metro Blue Line travels between downtown Los Angeles and Long Beach, with direct connections with the Metro Red Line, the Metro Green line and various buses.
