Go Metro to Espn X Games and Get Free Limited Edition Poster

Video

Go Metro to ESPN X Games 13, Aug. 2-5 at STAPLES Center and The Home Depot Center for high-powered action, including the X Games debut of Moto X Racing.

It's easy to get to both venues on Metro. And customers who show valid Metro passes or tickets at the special Metro booth at The Home Depot Center or at STAPLES Center Guest Services Up Link locations will receive a limited edition X Games 13 poster…free!

And this year ESPN X Games 13 -- the definitive action sports competition -- is going green with a program designed to minimize waste and make use of renewable resources. Rewarding participants who travel to the games via Metro is one of the features. Others include: recycling waste; rewards to spectators who "get caught recycling" throughout the venue; service ware items, such as cups, plates and napkins, will be made from renewable and compostable materials and 500 trees will be planted on behalf of athletes participating in the games.

Only a five-minute walk from Staples Center, the Metro Rail system connects X Games fans to the comfort and ease of the Metro Blue Line at Pico/Chick Hearn Station. The Metro Blue Line travels between downtown Los Angeles and Long Beach, with Metro Rail and bus connections throughout Los Angeles County. Upon arriving at the Pico/Chick Hearn station, fans need only walk one block west to Figueroa Street and STAPLES Center.

The Home Depot Center is at Victoria Street near Avalon Boulevard with convenient Metro bus connections to the Artesia Transit Center, just off the I-110 Harbor Freeway on West 182nd Street.
