Metro Passes No Longer Valid on LADOT Services Beginning January 1, 2008

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) announced earlier this month its passes will no longer be accepted on Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) DASH or Commuter Express buses.

The E-Z pass will continue to be accepted by LADOT as well as by other participating municipal carriers.

Patrons who currently ride Commuter Express or DASH may purchase a purchase a LADOT bus pass. They are available on line at ladottransit.com or by calling 213-310-2273, or by visiting the LADOT Transit Store In the Los Angeles Mall located at 201 North Los Angeles Street, Los Angeles.

Patrons who ride LADOT services in conjunction with other bus service such as Metro, Foothill, Montebello and others can purchase an EZ transit pass. They are available on line at www.metro.net or at a Metro sales outlet go to www.metro.net for locations.
