SAN
FERNANDO VALLEY PATRONS CAN USE METRO BUS SERVICE TO ACCESS NEW METRO RED LINE
STATIONS
Metro Red Line subway riders can use 11 Metro Bus lines that presently
serve the Universal City and North Hollywood Metro Red Line stations to access
the subway system from the Valley into Hollywood and downtown Los Angeles.
Due to limited parking at both Universal City and North Hollywood Metro
Red Line stations, patrons are encouraged to use public transit to get to the
new subway stations or have someone drop them off at the stations.
Serving the North Hollywood Metro Red Line station, patrons can use the
following bus lines:

At the Universal City Metro Red Line Station, patrons can use the

lines serve the bus plaza at Universal City Station expect Line 156 that stops
on Ventura Blvd. at Lankershim.
In addition, MTA’s new Metro Rapid Bus Line 750 (Warner Center via Ventura
Blvd.) serves the Universal City Metro Red Line Station. All service to
the Universal City station operates seven days a week.
MTA is currently meeting with the Los Angeles Department of
Transportation (LADOT) to identify additional parking areas that might be
available around both the Universal City and North Hollywood stations.
Since MTA opened the North
Hollywood extension of the Metro Red Line subway June 24, ridership on the
subway has nearly doubled from 65,150 daily boardings during the month of May to
over 120,000 average daily boardings.
