SEPTEMBER MONTHLY PASSES WILL CONTINUE
TO BE HONORED BY VARIOUS TRANSIT OPERATORS
MTA’s September monthly passes will continued to be honored by various
transit operators during the month of October depending on the length of the
union strike.
MTA reminds Metro bus and rail patrons who purchased a September pass to
retain their passes for use on other transit providers as well as for receiving
a credit towards the purchase of a future month’s pass, prorated according to
the length of the strike.
During
the strike, the following operators will continue to honor MTA September monthly
passes in October: Foothill Transit, Long Beach Transit, City of Los Angeles
(DASH, Community Connections, Commuter Express, and Smart Shuttles), Culver
City, Montebello, Norwalk Transit, Santa Monica Big Blue Bus, and Metrolink.
For information on alternative transit service during the strike or
rideshare information the public can call 1-800-C-O-M-M-U-T-E, (213) 626-4455 or
1-800-286-RIDE.
