NEW BROCHURES DETAILING SERVICE ARE BEING DISTRIBUTED
MTA, SMART SHUTTLE TEAM TO SERVE SYLMAR JUVENILE HALL 

            Visitors to Juvenile Hall in Sylmar can make the trip via two Metro Bus lines which conveniently connect with Smart Shuttle buses serving the facility from two San Fernando Valley locations.  Brochures detailing the Smart Shuttle service, which accommodates visiting hours at the facility and normal business hours at Juvenile Court, are now available in a number of locations. 

Smart Shuttle buses serve Juvenile Hall from Olive View Medical Center and Metrolink’s Sylmar Station.

Visitors can make the connection to Smart Shuttle at Olive View Medical Center via Metro Bus Line 94, which operates daily between downtown LA and Olive View Medical Center. 

In addition to making the trip on Metrolink, visitors can travel to Sylmar Station via Metro Bus Line 394, which runs limited stop service Monday through Friday during the morning and afternoon hours between downtown LA and Sylmar Station.

Visiting hours at Juvenile Hall are Sundays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Juvenile Court session hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Smart Shuttle buses leave Metrolink’s Sylmar Station and Olive View Medical Center approximately every 30 minutes, Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays from 12 noon to 5 p.m.  Return trips operate on the same schedule.

            Patrons can transfer to Smart Shuttle buses free with a Smart Shuttle transfer, a Metro pass or token, a Metro Bus transfer or with a Metrolink pass or ticket.  The one-way cash fare is one dollar.

            For service prior to and after normal operating hours, patrons can call Smart Shuttle at (818)780-1888 for a scheduled pick-up.  This service is available Monday through Friday 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. only.  Fares vary.
