MTA to Welcome Back Transit Riders with Doughnut Coupons from Krispy Kreme

Commuters returning to Metro Buses and Rail lines after the transit strike can receive a welcome back treat from MTA and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. On Monday, Nov. 24 between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m., MTA will be handing out 10,000 Krispy Kreme doughnut coupons at 12 Metro transit locations.

The coupons allow transit customers to receive one dozen free original glazed doughnuts when they purchase one dozen doughnuts at a local participating Krispy Kreme store.

"We're glad to work with Krispy Kreme Doughnuts in welcoming back our transit customers," said MTA CEO Roger Snoble.  "This gesture is our way of saying thank you to the faithful transit riders of Los Angeles County."

MTA representatives will be at the following Metro Bus and Rail stations to distribute doughnut coupons on a first-come, first-serve basis:

Coupons are valid at Southern California locations only and are good through the end of the year.
