MTA to Welcome Back
Transit Riders with Doughnut Coupons from Krispy Kreme
Coupons to be handed out
Monday morning, Nov. 24
Commuters returning to Metro
Buses and Rail lines after the transit strike can receive a welcome back treat
from MTA and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. On Monday, Nov. 24 between 7 a.m. and 9
a.m., MTA will be handing out 10,000 Krispy Kreme doughnut coupons at 12 Metro
transit locations.
The coupons allow transit
customers to receive one dozen free original glazed doughnuts when they purchase
one dozen doughnuts at a local participating Krispy Kreme store.
"We're glad to work with
Krispy Kreme Doughnuts in welcoming back our transit customers," said MTA CEO
Roger Snoble. "This gesture is
our way of saying thank you to the faithful transit riders of Los Angeles
County."
MTA representatives will be
at the following Metro Bus and Rail stations to distribute doughnut coupons on a
first-come, first-serve basis:
Patsouras
Transit Plaza (between 8 and 9 a.m.)
Metro
Red Line Stations: Wilshire/Vermont, Universal City, Wilshire/Western,
North Hollywood
Metro
Blue Line Stations: 7th St./Metro Center/Julian Dixon,
Willow, Transit Mall, Imperial/Wilmington/Rosa Parks
Metro
Green Line Station: Norwalk Station
Metro
Gold Line Station: Sierra Madre Villa
Bus
Transit Center: El Monte Transit Center
Coupons are valid at Southern
California locations only and are good through the end of the year.
