Metro to See Post-Parade Floats in Victory Park
MTA
will be providing easy access to view the floats in Victory Park following the
2004 Tournament of Roses Parade.
Take the Metro Gold Line to
the Sierra Madre Villa Station in East Pasadena. MTA will be providing shuttles
that take people directly to Victory Park where floats will be displayed Jan.
1-3. Buses will depart the Sierra Madre Villa Station Bus Plaza every 5-10
minutes between the following hours:
Thursday, January 1, from
12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Friday, January 2, from 7
a.m. to 3 p.m.
Saturday, January 3, from
7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The last bus to the viewing
area will depart Sierra Madre Villa Station at 3 p.m. The last bus to the Sierra
Madre Villa Station will depart the viewing area at 5:30 p.m.
Shuttle fares are $1.25 each
way. Those purchasing a $3 Metro Day Pass can use the entire Metro system,
including shuttles, from the day of purchase to 3 a.m. the next day. Passes are
just $1.50 for seniors, disabled and Medicare recipients.
