Pam O'Connor has served on the Santa Monica City Council since 1994 and has served three terms as mayor. She is a member of the SCAG Regional Council and is on the Board of Directors of the Local Government Commission. She also serves on committees for the League of California Cities and the National League of Cities. Ms. O'Connor works as a private consultant, specializing in historic preservation. She has worked throughout Southern California on projects, including the rehabilitation of Los Angeles' City Hall and on numerous buildings at UCLA and USC. Ms. O'Connor earned a B.S. degree in journalism from Southern Illinois University and holds masters' degrees in historic preservation planning and in technology management from Eastern Michigan University.
