FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Go Metro to Fiesta Broadway Sunday, April 27

Go Metro to Fiesta Broadway and leave your car behind Sunday, April 27, and forget about traffic, parking hassles and save on gasoline. Metro is the best way to travel to downtown Los Angeles with more then 50 Metro Bus lines and Metro Rail serving downtown.

This traditional outdoor celebration will feature live entertainment, food and street vendors on Broadway Street between Temple Street and Olympic Boulevard. Metro Rail serves this area with stations at Pershing Square and Civic Center.
Metro Buses traveling in and around downtown Los Angeles will be detoured around the Fiesta Broadway Festivities beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday until 5 a.m. Monday, April 28. Hill, Broadway and Spring streets will be closed to traffic between First Street and Olympic Boulevard. In addition, all east/west streets from First Street to Olympic will be closed to traffic.

Due to Fiesta Broadway activities, Metro Bus operations in the downtown Los Angeles area may experience some service delays.

All Metro service affected by the street closure will be rerouted. These included Metro lines: 2, 4, 10, 16, 18, 20, 26, 28, 30, 31, 33, 40, 42, 45, 48, 51, 52, 53, 55, 60, 62, 66, 68, 70, 71, 76, 78, 79, 81, 83, 84, 90, 92, 94, 96, 333, 394, 439, 444, 445, 446, 447, 460, 484, 485, 487, 489, 490, 720, 740 & 745.
