Metro to Hold Community Meeting to Discuss Improvements to Wilmington/Imperial/Rosa Parks Station Area
Metro will hold a community meeting in Compton on October 14 to discuss potential improvements surrounding the Wilmington/Imperial/Rosa Parks Station in an effort to update the public on the Transit Oriented District Plan.
The meeting will be held at the Ronald McNair Elementary School (Cafeteria), 1450 West El Segundo Blvd. in Compton from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The meeting will include a project overview as well as a breakout session to discuss potential area improvements including wayfinding, lighting, access to the station and the surrounding neighborhood.
Those wishing to attend the meeting can use Metro Bus lines 55, 355 and 120. In addition, parking is available in the school’s parking lot located off of El Segundo Blvd. For specific route and schedule information visit metro.net or call 1-800-C-O-M-M-U-T-E.
