AUDIO:
The L.A. Marathon is coming to Los Angeles Sunday, March 2nd. For spectators and participants Metro is your best bet for getting to and from the race route and avoiding traffic hassles. Spectators can follow the race by using Metro Rail. A number of stops on the Red and Blue Lines are right on the runners’ route. Keep in mind that due to street closures, nearly 80 Metro bus lines will either be detoured around the race route or have restricted service in downtown Los Angeles. So be sure to plan ahead for race day by visiting metro.net.
