Griffith Observatory

It’s finally reopened, the Griffith Observatory, an icon of Los Angeles and a national leader in astronomy.

Enjoy a day at the observatory, learning about the Galaxy, stars and our universe. Cars aren’t allowed, so the best way to get there is to go Metro.

Take the Metro Red Line to the Hollywood & Highland Station or Metro Local Line 96 to the zoo parking lot at Griffith Park.

Shuttles from both places will then take you right up to the observatory. For more information, log on to metro.net or call 1-800-COMMUTE.

Take a ride to the moon when you go Metro.
