Metro has prepared a Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR) for the San Fernando Valley East-West Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Corridor Project. The Final EIR completed the environmental analysis for the San Fernando Valley East-West BRT and responds to comments received during the circulation of the Draft EIS/EIR which was approved by Metro Board in July 2001.
In general, the San Fernando Valley East-West BRT project is a 14-mile landscaped exclusive busway with 13 stations located on Metro right-of-way between North Hollywood Metro Red Line Station and Warner Center in Woodland Hills. In addition to the busway project, Metro right-of-way will be improved with a parallel bicycle/pedestrian path. Existing bus service will also be enhanced to operate as a feeder system for the busway.
Volume 1: Chapters 1 – 6 and Appendices are available on the website.
