District A2 - Westlake/MacArthur Park

The 2003-04 rate for District A2 is $0.30 per assessable square foot.

District A2 covers approximately 207 acres and includes Westlake/MacArthur Park. It is located on Wilshire Boulevard, midway between Miracle Mile to the west and the Central Business District to the east in the City of Los Angeles.

  • $6.5 million was generated through bond sales, which was applied toward station construction costs.
  • District A2 includes one Metro Red Line station, which opened in 1993.
  • Boundaries are set at a one-third mile distance from the station.
  • Approximately 456 properties are located within District A2, of which 233 properties are assessable.
  • In 2000, the District contained 3,291,084 assessable square feet.
