Record of Decision Issued

The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) signed a Record of Decision (ROD) on February 27, 2006 for the Exposition Light Rail Transit Project. The ROD indicates that the project has satisfied all requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act thereby completing the environmental clearance of the project. The FTA action is a major milestone for the project. The issue of the ROD clears the way for the award of a design/build construction contract and the use of Federal funds for the project.
