Future Community Update Meetings

Thank you for following us through this subway planning effort! Metro is currently reviewing, compiling and summarizing input received at the Station Information Meetings held in October & November 2009 and incorporating it into our continuing work on the Draft EIS/R for the subway.

Our next set of community meetings will be held in early 2010 when we’ll report back on what we heard at the Station Information Meetings as well as our continuing analysis of the subway alternatives.

Early 2010: Next Update

  • Refinement of station details
  • Performance of alternatives

Spring 2010 Update

  • Results of further analysis

Summer 2010: Public Hearings on Draft EIS/EIR

  • Study recommendations and recommendation of Locally Preferred Alternative (LPA)

Fall 2010: Metro Board Action

  • Adopt LPA
  • Authorize preparation of Final EIS/EIR and Preliminary Engineering
