Problems, Problems, Problems. Well, I’m sure you’ve all heard by now that LA was ranked number one in traffic congestion. And unfortunately, gas prices are at an all time high. LA commuters are facing some of the toughest problems in a long time, but we all know the solution. So let’s roll up our sleeves and help our fellow commuters get out of this jam!
The nice folks at Metro and our fine Rideshare Sponsors have everything ready to help you run an amazing Rideshare Week campaign. This year’s theme focuses on LA’s biggest problem – traffic, and the best solution – ridesharing! It’s all about “opposites.” Problem/Solution. Stop/Go. Dirty/Clean. Pain/Pleasure. Then/Now.
Rideshare Week is October 6-10 and when your employees pledge to share the ride they could win one of dozens of valuable prizes. Even you have the chance to win a great prize by reporting your success promoting Rideshare Week.

It’s Easy to Participate
4 Easy Steps
- Photocopy, distribute or email the pledge card below to employees prior to Rideshare Week.
- Recruit new riders and recognize current riders. Offer internal ridematching assistance, call 1.800.COMMUTE or refer to commutesmart.info.
- Collect Pledge Cards. Complete the Pledge Card Summary form.
- Completed Pledge Cards and Pledge Card Summary form must be postmarked by October 24, 2007 to be entered in the prize drawings. Please send to:
