Two children under age 5 may travel free with each fare-paying adult on bus or rail.
On Metro Rail and the Metro Orange Line, buy your tickets before you board from self-service ticket vending machines.
A Metro Day Pass is activated immediately when purchased at a farebox or ticket vending machine. It is activated the first time you tap it when purchased at a pass sales location.
A TAP card is required to purchase a Day Pass aboard a Metro bus.
