Metro prepares for TAP
Metro is installing new equipment on buses and in rail stations in preparation for TAP– an easy way to pay your fare that will be introduced on most LA County transit operators starting next year. You just “tap” the fare box or validator with your TAP card to pay your fare. When TAP is fully implemented, customers will benefit from faster boardings and easier fare payment across LA’s various transit operators. Watch for more information on TAP’s introduction early next year. Stand-alone validators will offer fast and easy boarding at Metro Rail stations and Orange Line stations. |
